Meet the Pino Family

Founders of three Pines Coffee Company. Pino translated from Spanish into English means Pine. Put together one, two, three Pinos and you get Three Pines Coffee Company.

Three Pines Coffee Company owners Dimas Pino and Dina Ramaha Pino met in a small town called Boquete located in the highland mountains of Panama. Boquete happens to produce some of the worlds best and most award winning coffee in the world. It was inevitable that their knowledge and appreciation for coffee developed and grew into a love for coffee. Dimas, born and raised in Panama and Dina, a Palestinian American both grew up in cultures that emphasized the importance of family, community, good food, and great coffee.

They have also traveled through many parts of the world where they absorbed a vast knowledge and appreciation for a wide range of diverse cultures and foods. These experiences created the foundation of their lives, and Three Pines Coffee Company is an extension of those values. “We proudly offer a unique experience of organic, ethically sourced, and fair trade coffee from Latin America. Our unique menu of healthy food options is and a place to gather, for both our local community and out of town guests of South Lake Tahoe. Our intention is to serve some of the best coffee from Latin America while using some of the worlds best extraction methods with great precision and high quality equipment, so we can serve you some of the best coffee you have ever had, while providing a delicious menu and healthy foods suitable to every palate.”

Dimas and Dina live in South Lake Tahoe with their daughter Luna and rescue dog Peppa. The Pino family spends most of their free time outdoors in nature, spending time with family and friends, cooking great food, and having great adventures as much as possible.
